Irwin M&E Limited Health and Safety Training Day March 2012
Health and Safety Training Day
As part of Irwin M&E Limiteds on-going employee engagement, a Health and Safety a Training day was provided for all site personnel at the Seagoe Hotel, Portadown on Friday 9th March 2012.
Safety Training included:
– UKATA Asbestos Awareness training carried out by John Thompson (H&J Martin FM)
– Manual Handling/Safe use of ladders – BSD Training, NI
Under our Occupational Health programme, we asked our employees to complete a confidential on-line well-being survey.
This will help us understand our employees health and wellbeing and lifestyle attitudes for both home and work activities. The results from the survey will ultimately help us identify areas where we can provide more support and promote opportunities to improve the mental, social and physical well-being for all Irwin M&E Limited employees.
Business in the Community
Everyone also got the chance to ‘have their say’ by answering a short questionnaire on what charity/community based projects that they wanted to get involved in. We had some great responses from this and we will be implementing these in the near future.
This very successful event demonstrates our commitment to training and sustainable development through strong economic progress within the construction industry.
