Project Completion at Cathal Brugha Office and Archives Facility, Rathmines
February 2016 seen the completion of the Cathal Brugha Office and Archives Project located in Rathmines, Dublin 6. We were selected for this project via a robust PQQ and tender process with GEM Construction
This project involved the refurbishment of an old hospital building into office accommodation, including a new build historical archive store to accommodate a multi-level storage system for material connecting to an existing restored building; including the creation of reading rooms and works facilities.
Diversion works started on site in February 2015, which included the relocation of electrical works for project start up. Complete electrical Installation works started in June 2015 and all works were handed over the first week in February 2016. The project was completed on time and to budget, as per the Client requirements.
This project adds to Irwin’s ROI portfolio, having recently completed an extensive electrical restoration and upgrade Project to the 16th Century Rathfarnham Castle, located in South Dublin.
