Peter Falloon – Apprentice of the Year

We are delighted that Irwin M&E apprentice Peter Falloon has won ‘Apprentice of the Year’ at this year’s NI Electrical Awards.

Peter has added the Northern Ireland’s Electrical Apprentice of the Year title to a host of awards this promising electrician has already received.

A student at Southern Regional College’s Greenbank campus, Peter has already been named as the Top Southern Regional College Student (SRC Newry) in 2015 and the CCEA Learner of the Year 2016 as well as being a SkillBuild finalist this year.

As well as these exploits, Peter also received a number of strong testimonials for his work both in the classroom and on site, all of which praised his commitment, hard work and positive attitude.

Keith Stewart, Managing Director of Irwin M&E Limited, stated, “Despite only having one years’ apprenticeship experience under his belt, Peter already displays many characteristics of both a competent electrician and a future leader. Peter demonstrates quality in his installation techniques, innovation and a desire to learn. He strives to improve both himself and the company. He continues to achieve above and beyond what is expected of him, and leads by example.”

We are extremely proud to have Peter as part of the team at Irwin M&E.
