Compressed Air Engineer (Ref: CAE0224)

Due to continued growth, we are currently recruiting for Compressed Air Engineers to join our team.  This is an opportunity for a flexible thinker to make a significant impact on our developing business and with the potential opportunity to grow and develop with our extending operations.

This is a site-based role, and will involve travel across NI.

Job Description:

  • Service, Repair and Maintenance of Industrial Stationary Air Compressors and Associated Equipment in accordance with current regulations, manufacturer recommendations, and industry standards.
  • Complete strip downs and over-hauls on client machines
  • Communication with the Line Managers/Senior Engineers regarding progress and/or requirement of any additional works that may be required after assessment
  • Preparation & submission of accurate, detailed and legible reports on the work carried out
  • Preparation and submission of any certification as required.
  • Submission of parts & labour advice for any extra work required.
  • Attend ‘call out’ to client sites outside normal working hours as required
  • Ensure excellent customer service is achieved through disciplined operations.
  • Ensure all RAMs and company policies & procedures are followed

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience working as a Field Service Engineer
  • Experience working with Compressed Air Systems
  • Sound knowledge of electro / mechanical principles
  • Ability to apply knowledge to practical situations working on compressed air equipment
  • Ability to follow instructions, reading and understanding electrical and mechanical schematics and diagrams
  • Sound understanding of external factors which can affect compressor performance •
  • Good level of computer literacy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills

Desirable Criteria:

  • FGAS, BCAS DipCAM and experience working on N2 Generation equipment, Blowers and Heat Exchangers
  • Maintenance & MTC contract experience
