Rathfarnham Castle, Dublin

This project was for the electrical services installation as part of the overall refurbishment of Rathfarnham Castle, south Dublin.

Rathfarnham Castle is a 16th century National Monument in State ownership since 1988.

The Office of Public Works manages the site and has been undertaking a programme of restoration and conservation over the past twenty years.

It was originally the residence of Archbishop Adam Loftus, a clergyman who rose through the ranks to become Queen Elizabeth 1st’s chief envoy to Ireland. Loftus was the founder of Trinity College Dublin.
