Job Description
Reporting to the Payroll Supervisor, the Payroll Administrator will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely processing in line with company policies and statutory requirements.
The role is to provide a professional and efficient payroll service, working closely with the finance and HR functions to maintain accurate employee records and deliver reliable payroll and reporting information as required.
The role of Payroll Admin will be varied and will include:
- Running weekly reports to gather payroll information
- Checking the number of hours employees have worked
- Checking timesheets entries against van tracker reports
- Raise and help resolve payroll queries
- Assist with maintaining accurate employee information
- Assist with entering accurate payroll data
- Gather data and calculate accurate figures for sales invoices
- Generate and distribute accurate sales invoices to customers
- Allocate receipts on customer accounts
- Provide support to other finance functions and assist with adhoc duties.
Candidate Profile:
- Must be computer literate with a knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills are required
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Strong numeracy skills
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to demonstrate good team ethos
- Articulate with clear verbal communication skills
- Previous experience within an office environment would be advantageous
