Project Award: Queen’s University Belfast Momentum One Zero

Irwin M&E is proud to be working in partnership with Henry Brothers to deliver the full MEP installation for Queen’s University Belfast’s Momentum One Zero development at Queen’s Island, Belfast. 

This landmark extension to the existing ECIT Building will deliver a world-class digital innovation and research facility, set to become a leading hub for cybersecurity, AI and wireless technologies.

The development will feature state of the art laboratories, collaborative co-working environments and high-performance computing capacity, designed to accelerate business-led innovation across the Healthcare, Agri-Food and Net-Zero sectors. Once complete, the facility will accommodate more than 550 industry and academic experts.

Our scope includes a 2 MW UPS installation, gas suppression systems and close-control computer room air-conditioning, delivering highly specialised, mission-critical infrastructure beyond conventional MEP installations.

This project again showcases our proven capability in delivering high-quality MEP solutions for major developments.
