Position: Emergency Light Tester
Department: Electrical Division
Reporting to: Electrical Contracts Supervisor
Status of post: Full-Time Permanent
Salary: Remuneration Package will be competitive and in line with experience

Job Description

The role of the Emergency Light Tester will be pivotal to Irwin M&E’s ongoing growth and success and the job role will include:

  • Complete Emergency light testing and repairs to various government buildings throughout Mid-Ulster/Belfast/Ards & North Down
  • Prioritising workload to complete within timescales.
  • A full-time post, working 39 hours per week with overtime available
  • Working on 2-3-year contract
  • Carrying out work according to Irwin M&E policies and procedures
  • Ensuring all relevant working practices comply with the statutory Health & Safety legislation

Essential Criteria

  • Previous experience within an electrical role, electrician, electricians assistant etc
  • Driving Licence
  • Valid CSR card

Desirable Criteria

  • Knowledge of emergency lighting systems (training can be provided)
  • Previous experience of organising own work
