Irwin M&E Appointed for Lakeland Forum Redevelopment

Irwin M&E has been appointed to deliver the Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health package for the redevelopment of Enniskillen Lakeland Forum, a landmark project set to deliver a new leisure destination for the local community.

 

The project will see the existing facility replaced with a new, state-of-the-art leisure centre designed to Passivhaus standards, with sustainability and energy performance central to its design.

 

Delivering innovative MEP solutions

As part of the wider project team, Irwin will deliver the mechanical, electrical and public health services for the new facility, bringing our expertise in complex building services and sustainable MEP solutions to one of Northern Ireland’s most significant leisure developments.

The new Lakeland Forum will feature a 25m swimming pool, learner pool, gym and fitness facilities, community and multipurpose spaces, alongside new outdoor recreation and play facilities.

The Passivhaus approach will help deliver a highly energy-efficient facility, while creating a comfortable and sustainable environment for those who use it.

The redevelopment has been shaped around the needs of the local community, with the new facility designed to support health, wellbeing, leisure and community activity for years to come.
