Design and build project for the mechanical and electrical installation works for the construction of two new buildings at the University of Surrey; the 5G Innovation Centre and the EFH Building.
The 5G Innovation Centre is a three-storey building with a central open atrium and is the first facility of its kind worldwide, dedicated to the Research and Development of 5G technologies. The centre offers the UK’s only large-scale test-bed, which will be used to prototype technological solutions, helping to define the global approach to 5G as it moves towards standardisation.
The EFH Building is a three-storey academical building accommodating the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) faculties. The building includes flexible laboratory/formal teaching space, an open plan social learning environment, offices and seminar rooms.
