Design and build project for the electrical installation for the construction of a major new build ‘hub’ hotel and retail development on York Way in the heart of King’s Cross.
This project comprised demolition of the existing building and construction of a 389-bedroom flagship hub by Premier Inn hotel with 292m2 of separate retail units next to King’s Cross station.
The building incorporates Combined Heat and Power with large thermal storage to generate a proportion of the site’s hot water demands. It also includes high efficiency air source heat pumps with heat recovery.
‘hub by Premier Inn’ is a style of compact, city-centre hotels with ingenious, contemporary room designs.
