Design and build project for the refurbishment and extension of an office building at 7-10 Old Park Lane, Mayfair, London.
The project included removing the two-story mansard and penthouse levels and replacing them with four new levels in a continuous mansard roof envelope.
We completed the full shell, core and landlord’s MEP installations and Cat-A office fit out.
The service strategy proposal included for the Cat-A office floors to supply fresh air thorough a raised access floor, with VRF AC units to a minimal ceiling void. The benefit of this design negates the need for large fresh air ducts to pass under structural beams, thus resulting in generous floor to ceiling heights within the confines of the existing structure.
Other significant parts of our works package included a new external façade lighting system.
