Schools ‘out’ and Irwin M&E Limited are ‘in’ for the Summer

Irwin M&E Limited Services are continuing works as Main Contractor on a major Mechanical, Electrical and Building refurbishment project for Coleraine Academical Institute.

This project is being delivered under the NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contract and in full compliance with the contract conditions.

The works carried out to date include; replacement of mechanical equipment in a number of distinct plant rooms, replacement of existing main heating pipework, conversion of main heating sources to natural gas, renewal of main electricity distribution, general and emergency lighting and general builders works.

The project is forecast to be completed in Autumn 2015 with works phased to suit the requirements of the school; particularly in relation to exam timetables and the school semester starting in September 2015.
